Project - ‘Bleached’, 2023, handmade dress accompanied with a performative dance piece.
For my FMP, I looked at the devastating impact of climate change on our ocean’s coral reefs. Through the use of thermochromic screenprinting inks and coral patterns defined by quotes from climate change deniers, I visually translated how the rising ocean temperature is bleaching reefs across the globe.
